In the quiet lanes of Bhagalpur, a young artist named Sanu Kumar once watched the colors of Madhubani and Manjusha fade from village walls — not because the art had lost its beauty, but because the artists had lost their voice. The traditions that once told the stories of our ancestors were being forgotten, one brushstroke at a time.
From that realization, Kala Bindu Trust was born — not just as an organization, but as a movement to bring back the rhythm of India’s heritage, empower those who create, and connect art with social change.
It began in 2025, with a shared dream among Sanu Kumar, his mother Gunjana Devi, and his brother Akshay Kumar. Together, they envisioned a trust that would celebrate art as a way of living — a force that could educate, heal, and unite communities.
They named it “Kala Bindu” — the drop of art, a symbol of the tiny spark that can create waves of transformation.
What started as a small idea with just ₹5,000 and three hearts full of purpose has now grown into a collective of artists, teachers, social workers, and changemakers who believe that art has the power to rebuild lives.
To preserve India’s artistic heritage and empower communities through creativity, compassion, and education.
Every brushstroke, every melody, every performance becomes a step toward dignity, employment, and pride for those who once felt unseen.
Empower Artists & Artisans
We train and employ rural and emerging artists in traditional and modern art forms — from Fine Art to Acting , Music, Dance.
Educate & Inspire
Through workshops, schools, and training centers, we help youth and women learn creative skills that lead to sustainable livelihoods.
Heal & Support Communities
We run initiatives for healthcare, orphan support, and women’s welfare, and provide relief during natural calamities — proving that compassion is also an art form.
Protect Nature
Art can’t exist without nature. Our environmental projects promote tree plantation, clean energy awareness, and ecological education in rural communities.
Behind every painting we sell, every workshop we host, and every child we educate — there are countless dreams waiting to bloom.
Your support helps us:
Keep traditional Indian art alive for the next generation.
Provide training and employment to women and young artists.
Build art schools, libraries, and creative spaces in rural India.
Bring culture and compassion together through festivals and outreach.
When you donate to Kala Bindu Trust, you’re not just giving money —
you’re giving someone a reason to create, to dream, and to hope again.
Be part of this growing circle of art, love, and humanity.
Together, we can make every bindu — every drop of creativity — count.
Support. Share. Sponsor.
Because when art survives, humanity thrives.
